धृतराष्ट्र ने कहा: "तुम्हारे जैसी चिंता मुझे भी है। लेकिन मैं विदुर के प्रति अपना दृष्टिकोण प्रकट नहीं करना चाहता।"

Therefore, I particularly praised their qualities, so that Vidūra does not know my true wishes, even through a gesture.
इसलिये मैंने उनके गुणों की विशेष प्रशंसा की, जिससे विदुर को इशारे से भी मेरी सच्ची इच्छा का पता न चले।

यच्च त्वं मन्यसे प्राप्तं तद्ब्रूहि त्वं सुयोधन राधेय मन्यसे त्वं च यत्प्राप्तं तद्ब्रवीहि मे
This is the time. O Suyodhana! Tell me what you think. O Rādheya! You also tell me what you think."
यही समय है। हे सुयोधन! मुझे बताओ आपकी क्या सोच है। हे राधेय! आप भी मुझे बतायें कि आप क्या सोचते हैं।”
Duryodhana said: "Let us now use skilled and able Brāhmana-s who have our trust to create conflict among the Pāṇḍava-s, between the sons of Kuntī and the sons of Mādrī.
दुर्योधन ने कहा: "आइए अब हम पांडवों के बीच, कुंती के पुत्रों और माद्री के पुत्रों के बीच संघर्ष पैदा करने के लिए कुशल और सक्षम ब्राह्मणों का उपयोग करें, जिन पर हमें भरोसा है।"

ताकि वे कुंती पुत्र राजा युधिष्ठिर को त्याग दें। या उन्हें व्यक्तिगत रूप से बताया जाए कि यहां रहना कितना कठिन है, ताकि पांडव हमसे दूर, वहां रहने का फैसला करें।
Or let us separately describe the evils of their stay here and divide and confuse the minds of the sonds of Pāṇḍu

Or let artful and skilled men create dissension among the sons of Pṛthā.

व्युत्थापयन्तु वा कृष्णां बहुत्वात्सुकरं हि तत् अथ वा पाण्डवांस्तस्यां भेदयन्तु ततश्च ताम्
Or let them incite Kṛṣṇā against them. That should be easy, because they are many. Let the Pāṇḍava-s be dissatisfied with her, and she with them.
या उन्हें कृष्ण को उनके खिलाफ भड़काने दें । यह आसान होना चाहिए, क्योंकि वे बहुत सारे हैं। पाण्डव उससे असन्तुष्ट रहें और वह उनसे।

O king! Let artful and skilled men secretly bring about Bhīmasena's death. He is the strongest among them.
हे राजा! चतुर और कुशल लोगों को गुप्त रूप से भीमसेन की मृत्यु का कारण बनने दें। वह उनमें से सबसे मजबूत है.

तस्मिंस्तु निहते राजन्हतोत्साहा हतौजसः यतिष्यन्ते न राज्याय स हि तेषां व्यपाश्रयः
O king! When he is dead, they will lose their enterprise and their energy. Without him, they will no longer wish for the kingdom, because he is their only support.
हे राजा! जब वह मर जाएगा, तो वे अपना उद्यम और अपनी ऊर्जा खो देंगे। उसके बिना, वे अब राज्य की इच्छा नहीं करेंगे, क्योंकि वह ही उनका एकमात्र सहारा है।
Arjuna is invincible in battle as long as he is supported from the back by Vṛkodara. Without him, Phālguna is not even worth a fourth of Rādheya in battle.
अर्जुन युद्ध में तब तक अजेय है जब तक उसे वृकोदर द्वारा पीछे से समर्थन प्राप्त है। उसके बिना, फाल्गुन युद्ध में राधेय के एक चौथाई के बराबर भी नहीं है।
With Bhīmasena dead, they will know their great weakness and knowing our great strength, the feeble ones will perish.
भीमसेन के मरने से उन्हें अपनी बड़ी कमजोरी का पता चल जाएगा और हमारी बड़ी ताकत को जानकर कमजोर लोग नष्ट हो जाएंगे।
O king! If the sons of Pṛthā come here and submit themselves to our desires, we can confidently destroy them.
हे राजा! यदि पृथा के पुत्र यहां आएं और खुद को हमारी इच्छाओं के अधीन कर दें, तो हम आत्मविश्वास से उन्हें नष्ट कर सकते हैं।
Or, one after another, we can seduce them with pretty women so that Kṛṣṇā is disenchanted with Kuntī's sons.
या, एक के बाद एक, हम उन्हें सुंदर महिलाओं के साथ बहका सकते हैं ताकि कृष्ण का कुंती के पुत्रों से मोहभंग हो जाए।
Or we can send Rādheya to bring them here and on the way here, get them killed through an attack by dacoits whom we trust.
या हम उन्हें यहां लाने के लिए राधेय को भेज सकते हैं और यहां रास्ते में उन डकैतों के हमले से उन्हें मारवा सकते हैं जिन पर हमें भरोसा है।

एतेषामभ्युपायानां यस्ते निर्दोषवान्मतः तस्य प्रयोगमातिष्ठ पुरा कालोऽतिवर्तते
Employ, without delay, whichever of these strategies seems to you to be faultless. Time passes.
इनमें से जो भी रणनीति आपको दोषरहित लगे, उसे बिना देर किए अपनाएं। समय गुजर जाता है।

यावच्चाकृतविश्वासा द्रुपदे पार्थिवर्षभे तावदेवाद्य ते शक्या न शक्यास्तु ततः परम्
As long as their confidence in King Drupada, who is like a bull, is not established, until then, we can succeed. But not afterwards.
जब तक बैल के समान राजा द्रुपद पर उनका विश्वास स्थापित नहीं हो जाता, तब तक हम सफल हो सकते हैं। लेकिन उसके बाद नहीं.

एषा मम मतिस्तात निग्रहाय प्रवर्तते साधु वा यदि वासाधु किं वा राधेय मन्यसे
O father! These are my views. We should suppress them. O Rādheya! What do you think? Are these views good or bad?"
हे पिता! ये मेरे विचार हैं. हमें उनका दमन करना चाहिए. हे राधेय! आप क्या सोचते हैं? क्या ये विचार अच्छे हैं या बुरे?"
